It takes approximately 48 hours for us to determine if benefits are available and find out what your insurance requirements are, as this is different for each policy. Our office staff will call you and review this information with you once it is obtained.

If I have benefits available, how long will it take to get insurance approval and get surgery scheduled?

Once the requirements are met and records are gathered, we will submit this to your insurance company promptly. The length of time this takes depends on your insurance company and can take 4 to 6 weeks in some cases.

Can I do anything to speed the process along?

Yes! After your letter is received and put into the insurance company's system, it is extremely helpful for you call your insurance company on a regular basis to inquire about your Letter of Predetermination.

What do I ask when I call my insurance company?
